The BIG SEE Perspectives Award is a regional recognition program that spotlights emerging talents in architecture and product design across Southeast Europe. Selected by a network of regional experts and nominators, it aims to give visibility and recognition to a new generation of creative professionals.
Southeast Europe is not lacking creativity. It has been lacking recognition, structure and confidence to stand by its own strengths. BIG SEE Perspectives exists to change that. It is a curatorial project that identifies and supports emerging creative talent, giving the region a clear framework to articulate its values and grow on its own terms with confidence and responsibility.
Being recognized by the BIG SEE Perspectives program is deeply meaningful to Studio Plato. It affirms our belief in thoughtful, research-driven design and the importance of developing an architectural language that is both contemporary and deeply connected to its context. Being recognised alongside emerging practices from across Southeast Europe reinforces our confidence in the direction of our work and in our commitment to creating architecture that values clarity, materiality, experimentation, and lasting quality. This recognition also encourages us to continue evolving, refining our process, challenging our ideas, and pursuing higher standards in every project. We see it as both an achievement and a responsibility to keep creating meaningful work that contributes to the architectural landscape of the region and beyond.
